The first time when I saw the Revontuli-shawl in this colour in a blog I was quite horrified. How could anyone knit something that is so bright!?! This summer I got some Estonian wool with these colours and I immeadiately knew what I would have to knit and RIGHT AWAY!
Otin neuleen mukaan viikon pituiselle melontaretkellemme. Kesän paras hetki on se, kun on melottu pitkään, syöty ja uitu. Otan neuleen esille, kömmin riippumattoon, joka on ripustettu lämpimään paikkaan niin, että näen järvelle. Varmistan, että teekupponen on saatavilla ja alan neuloa ilta-auringon lämmössä. Ah, onnea!
I took this project with me when we went canoeing . The best moment was after canoeing for the whole day and after having supper and a swim in the lake, it was time to hang the hammock between the trees, climb in with a cup of tea and then - I started to knit. The view was towards the calm lake.

I knitted this for myself. My old homescraf is already worn out. I'll start to use the old one at the cottage or when we go camping.
