Halusin neuloa pienen huivin tähteeksi jääneestä Titan Wool Merinos Extrasta. Oli aika hankalaa löytää pienen huivin ohjetta, kaikki huivit ovat isoja. Lopulta päädyin Ishbeliin, joka on Ravelryssä myytäviä malleja. En ole koskaan aiemmin ostanut ohjetta (lehtiä ja kirjoja lukuunottamatta), mutta nyt ilmaismalleista ei löytynyt mieleistä. Ostaminen oli helppoa, ohje tuli heti sähköpostiin, josta sen tulostettua. Vaikka ohje ei ollut kallis (3 puntaa), päätin heti, että tämä ohje on hyödynnettävä mahdollisimman tarkasti. Niinpä päätinkin neuloa heti kaksi huvia, eri langoista kylläkin.

Lanka: Vihreä huivi: Drops Alpaca, punaruskea: Titan Wool Merinos Extra

Puikot: Prymin bambupyöröt 4 mm molemmissa huiveissa

Ohje: Ishbel

Huivi oli huomattavasti mukavampi neuloa paksummasta langasta ja luulenkin, että pidän tuon vihreän huivin itselläni, vaikka siitä tulikin liian iso eli en vieläkään löytänyt riittävän pienen huivin ohjetta...

Tätä oli kuitenkin niin mukavaa ja joutuisaa neuloa, että taidan vielä kokeilla parilla muulla langalla !

I wanted to knit a small kerchief using the leftover yarn from my Springtime Swirl. It was really hard to find a nive small scarf pattern. At the end there was only one option, Ishbel. I had never bought a pattern on line, but it was really easy and fast. The pattern was in my e-mail right away.

Because I had paid for the pattern (I know, I'm cheap!) I decided to knit two scarves using different yarns. The green kerchief is nicer and I'll probably keep it. I'm tempted to try this pattern with a couple of other yarns in my stash. (Well, you should have seen how many scarves I crocheted when I learned the Salomon's knot . I didn't blog at that time so I'm saved from that embarassement!)

Anyways, I'm still in the search for a small scarf, because these ones aren't small enough.
